Ingredients:

  • 600 – 1000 g feef patty
  • One smoke dust tray No. 2 Lowland eller No. 5 Meadow
  • 4 corn cops.
  • 4 baking potatoes.
  • Burgerbuns.
  • Salad and onion for the burger.
  • Cheddar cheese.
  • Pickled sliced cucumbers.
  • Ketchup, mayonnaise, dressing.

How to do:

The beef patty:
Form the hamburgers. Brush the hamburgers with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. When the coals are ready and placed in both sides, place the smoke dust tray in one side directly on the coals. Place the hamburgers in the centre of the grid. Put on the lid. After a few minutes when it starts smoking, almost close the damper. Smoke the hamburgers for 15 - 20 minutes or until they are ready. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the hamburgers 3 minutes before they are ready.

The corn cops:
Part the corn cops in 3 – 4 minor parts. Wrap these in tin foil with a lump of butter. Place them directly over the coals for approx. 10 minutes.

Baked potatoes:
Wrap the potatoes in tin foil. Place them directly on the coals for approx. 40 minutes. Remember to turn them every 10 minutes.

Serving:
Put mayonnaise on lower half of the bun. Add salad and then the hamburger. A drop of ketchup on top, pickled cucumber and onion. Top with upper half of bun. Serve with corn cops and baking potatoes.
