Burger buns, American BBQ

Serves 4 persons

Ingredients:

Ca. 8 - 10 stk.
4.5 dl full-cream milk
30 g yeast
750 g wheat flour
Ca. 1.5 teaspoon table salt
1.5 tablespoon sugar
45 g butter
Egg for brushing
Sesame seeds

How to do:

Mix yeast in hand warm milk and add flour, salt, sugar and the butter which must be soft.

Knead the dough thoroughly, (approx. 10 minutes) use e.g. food mixer with dough hook. Put the dough into a floured bowl, cover it and set aside for rising in room temperature for approximately 1 ½ hours.

Part the dough into 8 - 10 pieces and form them as buns. Set aside for extra rising on a baking tray for 30 minutes.

The buns are brushed with whipped eggs, sprinkle with sesame seed, and bake in a 200 degree warm oven for approx. 15 minutes.
